    • In Milan, Italy, there is a law on the books that requires a smile on the face of all citizens at all times. Exemptions include time spent visiting patients in hospitals or attending funerals. Otherwise, a citizen may be fined if they are seen in public without a smile on their face.

      - Trivia for the toilet

      Compare that to a certain class that I've been in:

      The teacher (who doesn't deserve to be named) was announcing that we're going to have a test.
      Teacher : Why are you smiling?
      Me: I'm not smiling... Seriously, I just look like that...
      Teacher: Kerry is smiling because she likes tests so much!

      I didn't get to argue back, but that's something I'll never forget... That teacher was the reason I though I hated science when I was in year nine, the reason why I didn't choose to take separate sciences (just as well that I didn't, or I'd have been stuck in his class for another year)... My year ten class was so much better though, it helped me realise that I didn't hate the subject...
