The economics party was great. It was sunny, and we had plenty of food. The fruit that I brought turned out to be quite popular too, even if two other people also brought fruit. I brought speakers so I could share my music with the class. It's not often when I get a chance to let other people listen to "Hang on Kids" and "Dan ma fusée". One thing I like about my economics class is that we can talk about anything. Since it's the end of the year, the topic naturally goes to future plans. Apparently, most people in this class think I'm going to do science research. Well, in some ways it's better than having someone insist on telling me that I want to be an artist.
Speaking of art, I actually had a chance to paint today, because it's part of the chemistry of art option. The teacher commented that at least our chemistry is better than our art. Well, I can tell you that I can paint better than this if I had more colours to choose from. (Of course, I can always say "I'm a night person and I just can't do these things properly during the day", and I'd be able to back it up with everything I did in my outside classes.) These ones weren't mixed that well to start with, and they go murky when mixed. It also looked better before it dried. At least this one actually looks like a flower, unlike that time last year when everyone thought my flowers were leaves.
Plans were made in maths class for the final lesson. Somehow, the teacher thinks that I'm going to tell the maths scientist, and she looked my way and said don't tell. I asked her if that was directed at me, and she said yes. As if I would tell? I'm not going to ruin the plans. There's enough to talk about in roll call without mentioning these things. Today there was a visitor. Come to think of it, I must've looked quite silly in front of the visitor, pretending to be angry at the maths scientist for various little things the way I always did. Well, it doesn't matter since it's the last week of school anyway. There I go again, more about roll call, even if so many other things happened today.

Today in maths the teacher was giving out the reissued assessment marks on a sticky label, and they didn't peel properly. It turned out that they were printed on the wrong side, as in on the backing and not the sticky paper. Look carefully at the picture, the text is on the backing paper. I pointed it out to the teacher even though it wasn't very important, and she said "Just shows how some people can't print. Guess who printed these!", and somehow it was obvious enough who she was talking about. Let's just say I'll bring the label to roll call tomorrow. xD
The most special thing that happened today was the economics excursion. It was to the conference between the RBA people and House of Representatives economics committee in Tattersalls Cafe in the city. Me and the others from my school actually arrived late, so there weren't enough seats for us to sit together. Somehow, I ended up sitting right at the front, behind the governer of the RBA. It was both a good thing and a bad thing.
As you can see from this picture, the worst thing about sitting right at the front was that there was a bright light right in front of me. It was also quite awkward because the person on my left was using his phone to record what the speakers said, and then there was someone else on my right too, and I had my vest with the very full pockets so I had to try to keep curled up. It was even worse when it was time for a break, as the person right in front of me dropped his chair when he was getting up, and guess where it fell! Right on my knees. Overall, it was a very boring excursion. Sure, I could hear everything from where I was sitting, but it's mainly things that I didn't really understand anyway, and it's not really going to be much help for the HSC. I had a feeling that the photographers weren't very happy about me sitting right behind Mr Macfarlane. They must've been trying to get him in the photos while not having me in it.
