Month: October 2005

  • Tuesday is the day to be tired for me. Of course I'm tired, look how much I did on Monday!

The train in the morning was delayed because of signal problems, what a bad start. My dad had to drive me to school. You know it's not a good idea to wait for the train when the 6:45 train (no, that's not the train I take) hasn't arrived by 7:20.

Somehow, I actually managed to be alert during my chemistry class and call out as usual. Of course, that's what usually happens on Tuesdays: I make myself get through chemistry, and I really start to run out of energy in biology. Today the biology teacher didn't even turn up... Perfect opportunity for me to do my English homework so I can focus on catching up with maths.

The plan for house time didn't work... I'll have to plan it for next week. May be I can even get out of biology to do what I planned.

Today I got two new cards: a concession card and a learner driver licence. Today being Tuesday, I obviously don't look so good. I think I look really annoyed in it - obviously tired and not in a good mood?

I realised that the maths catching up isn't really that much. It'll all be fine - like I said, I'm just saying it when I complained about catching up.

I'm really tired. At least I should be alright by tomorrow.

  • First day back at school! It's the normal busy Monday for me.

I carried the sticks to school. Luckily, I didn't hit anyone with them. I asked for permission to use the school equipment, and I got it. That's a good start.

Economics class was quite relaxed, we were playing a game in groups, and I was answering most of the questions for my group. Veronica brought a cake that she made for Natasha, and everyone in the class got to have some.
Alexia, Bernie, Veronica, and NatashaWhat a lovely cake!

Since it's Monday, I had to stay after school for maths extension 2. The extension 2 work itself isn't too much of a problem, but I asked the teacher where her class was up to, and her class had just finished the chapter that my current class is starting, and I'm supposed to go to her class next lesson. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CATCH UP? Oh well, it'll be alright. I'm just saying it.

Part of the sculpture classEven with more catching up than I can possibly do, I still get to go to sculpture class! It's my first lesson, and I was the only new person in the class. It was kind of awkward. There was a model posing for the class, so everyone's making a sculpture of the model. Someone said that he'd take a photo of one of the others if he had a camera, so I offered to take the photo on my camera. It was a perfect chance to get a group photo to put up here.

Me and my first sculptureThere are more people in the class. They're all nice, but we don't talk anywhere near as much as the fabric class does. At least I'll still be continuing the tradition of posting photos every Monday. Being the only one in the class with a camera is good because that way I can ask to have my photo taken when other people suggest taking photos, and they can take theirs too. I think my sculpture is going to fall over, I just hope it survives until I go back there next week. xD It's leaning against the wall right now.

  • What's that?

Oh wow, look at that bright light out there! I wonder what it is... There are always interesting things going on outside. Reflections of the sunset that make it look like there are two suns out there, beams of light showing through clouds just like those Bible story scenes, aeroplanes flying over the building that look much closer than they actually are... It's great to live so high up. Well, the only downside is that mobile phone reception up here isn't very good, and it gets really windy sometimes.

Back to school tomorrow! What a coincidence that it's the first day of half term holidays for my friends at SIS... The dates are so well synchronised. I'm not really dreading the first day of term, surprisingly. I guess this proves that it's not novelty that stops me from dreading school, I actually don't mind it now. Of course, may be it's because I have something else to look forward to.

The fabric class was cancelled. At least the Monday class that I used to go to was cancelled, I don't know about the Tuesday class. Not that I can possibly go to the Tuesday class anyway. This would've been something to look forward to, too bad it's cancelled.

Now, while that class was cancelled, it doesn't mean I don't have anything to look forward to, because I signed up for sculpture class this term! That alone is enough to stop me from dreading having to get up early next morning.

It also helps that I have something planned that I need to do at school. Seems like that during the term I plan stuff to do in the holidays, and then I never do them when the holidays come but I plan more stuff to do during the next term... It's like in the song One Of These Days - "One of these days I'm gonna stop saying one of these days"
