  • The first day back after the exams is very tiring because I didn't have to get up so early during the exams.

It doesn't help that Monday is busy day. The maths extension 2 class meant that it was 5:20 by the time I got home. The teacher was expecting the class to do homework on the same day too. Not like I can possibly get anything done today. Anne suggested doing the homework on the train, and I tried. I managed to do a few questions, but the train gets crowded once it gets to the city, and I can't really write with someone sitting next to me. I'll have time to do it tomorrow, but I already have homework from the maths class this morning... Too much maths! If the class really starts to go until 5, I don't think I'll even be able to make it to my fabric class on time after it.

Well, somehow I managed to not be too tired during my fabric class. We're doing discharge today, and that's a new thing, we didn't do that last term. It's basically just bleaching. At first I couldn't even get the (child-proof) lid of the bleach bottle.

At least the material that I bought actually discharges well.

    Squiggly!

At first, Marion said that the pattern on this looks like intestines. Doesn't help that Marguerite remembers what subjects I do at school, so she went like "well she's a biologist isn't she?"

I guess this class just isn't for someone who does all three sciences at school. Just the fact that I do science at school has almost became a joke here. They all know that this class is supposed to give me some balance from all the maths and science, but I guess I'm just naturally unbalanced. It was already a sign that nothing will balance me out when I practised doing mole equations (for the exams) with the naphtol recipe, and now this.

I made a stencil with paper, and it fell apart by the end of the lesson, but at least it worked well:
