I spilled hydrochloric acid on my skirt during chemistry class. The girls in the class were like "are you OK?" "did you spill sodium hydroxide [which the teacher warned us about] on yourself?" and I kept saying no to everything, until the teacher asked what I spilled on myself. At that time, I already cleaned most of the acid off my skirt with water, but the teacher seemed to be overreacting even more than I was.
