Look at this! Isn’t it just like a classic scene in Bible stories? How appropriate that it’s Easter Monday…

- Daylight saving time will be over at 3 am… This is the first time I ever had to change clocks for daylight saving time… Now, the clock on my computer does it automatically, but it’s not so easy with other things like my watch, mobile phone, and my account on Keepers of Lists, Spacefem, LetsSingIt, Xanga, SpreadFirefox, Wikipedia, and probably some others that I forgot about… Somehow I think I’ll definitely forget one of my accounts somewhere…
- Speaking of daylight saving time, on Xanga if you change the timezone setting of your account, it changes the timestamp on all the posts, so all the posts that were made during daylight saving time no longer show the correct time when it’s not daylight saving time… I hate it when I post just before midnight, and it becomes after midnight if I change the time zone setting, so the date on the timestamp becomes the next day… Oh no, this is going to happen every year…

Guess where I went today… For once, it’s not anywhere near where I live… I went to the Royal Easter Show!!! It took almost an hour just to get there, but I stayed there for the whole afternoon… Of course, five hours isn’t that long when there are long lines for everything… There was a lot to see there… Having been “official photographer” before, it’s no surprise that I took lots of pictures… Here you go… So many animals… May be one of them would make a great main character for a new layout on Pets and Animal Guild? Too bad I didn’t get to go on all the rides, or I’d have tried to take pictures from all of them, even the ones where they don’t let you take anything, remember the “view from the Abyss” pictures that I took in Ocean Park? The view from the ferris wheel was interesting though, on one side there’s the Easter Show with queues, stalls and all that, but on the other side it’s the countryside and there’s no one out there… The ladder thing was so hard, I don’t know why I even tried… Of course, I took pictures of some of the displays too… I even ran through the water spraying thing at the end… And look what I bought! It’s not really that much compared to what some people got, but then I didn’t buy any candy… There’s also the two prizes I won from the stalls, although I don’t even like them… -
- Oh no! I did so badly in my biology assessment… To make it worse, the “report” format that it was supposed to be in is actually just like the science coursework at SIS, but I didn’t realise that until the teacher gave me the cover sheet at the end…
I’m glad that the maths assessment today wasn’t too hard… Now, if only the 3 unit one on Monday will be that easy… - On a happier note, I’m now a moderator for Jill Sobule’s page on LetsSingIt.com! It definitely needs one, I guess that’s why I’m actually allowed to be moderator even though my account is fairly new…

- Having to stay at school until 7 pm is bad enough, but having to do that AFTER running 3 km is just so tiring! Fun run isn’t fun at all… May be it’s time to write the “Why is our school so imperfect V2″ if only just to complain about today… OK, I’m just joking… I actually took some pictures today… I hope the people in the pictures won’t find out about this page and start complaining (probably a sign that I shouldn’t be putting the pictures here, may be I’ll make this entry friends only…)

In Milan, Italy, there is a law on the books that requires a smile on the face of all citizens at all times. Exemptions include time spent visiting patients in hospitals or attending funerals. Otherwise, a citizen may be fined if they are seen in public without a smile on their face.
– Trivia for the toilet
Compare that to a certain class that I’ve been in:
The teacher (who doesn’t deserve to be named) was announcing that we’re going to have a test.
Teacher : Why are you smiling?
Me: I’m not smiling… Seriously, I just look like that…
Teacher: Kerry is smiling because she likes tests so much!I didn’t get to argue back, but that’s something I’ll never forget… That teacher was the reason I though I hated science when I was in year nine, the reason why I didn’t choose to take separate sciences (just as well that I didn’t, or I’d have been stuck in his class for another year)… My year ten class was so much better though, it helped me realise that I didn’t hate the subject…
