- YAY it’s getting cold (well may be a bit too cold) and it’s a new year! I’ll do the same thing I did last year (make a list of good and bad things that happened to me in the past year)
Good:- I joined activities at school (Wow, what’s the world coming to? I REPEAT, WHAT’S THE WORLD COMING TO?)
- I’ve been ‘official’ photographer for athletics (finally did SOMETHING at the athletics finals)
- I managed to record ‘Why is our school so imperfect‘ with background music!
- I finally learned how to wear contacts! (at long last! I’ve been trying for how long, about 3 years?)
- I don’t eat as much candy as I used to
Bad:
- I seem to be spending even more time on the computer (somehow I managed to do that even though I joined activities)
- I haven’t drawn anything for a long time… Let me see if I still remember how to draw…
- I think something’s wrong with my voice… (or is that just because I sing more and therefore notice what my voice is really like?)
- I still haven’t done much packing yet… I’m panicking about packing while all my friends (except Leighann) will probably be panicking about their exams…

- After about 10 attempts, I finally managed to record my Christmas song “Christmas is my favourite day of the year“… It has background music, which wasn’t too hard to get, only my voice isn’t so well (as usual?) so it sounded weird and I kept trying again, that’s why it took me so many times before I finally got it right…
- I need to start packing… Anything that I really need to bring besides what I already have on this list?
- Clothes (well obviously)
- Reference letter + transcript
- Removable hard disks (with all my files)
- Battery chargers, SD card reader, DVD drive and other electronic stuff that’s not too big to take
- Mice (I wish I can take my whole collection, but that’s not really possible)
- Pictures of my friends and other stuff to remind me of them

YAY! It’s the end of term! I always look forward to the end of term… Well, may be not this time because it’s also my last day at SIS… I’ve always been the one singing ‘Why is our school so imperfect‘, but when it’s time to leave I realise that school wasn’t that bad… In fact, I might actually miss the school later on… WHAT’S THE WORLD COMING TO? I REPEAT, WHAT’S THE WORLD COMING TO? (seems like I’m turning into Leighann)
The lessons don’t really look that different without me, do they?
This term I actually participated in two activities (computer programming and senior choir)… Really, what’s the world coming to? I ACTUALLY JOINED ACTIVITIES! I’m glad that I did though… Look at all the pictures from the choir performances!
At the end, my Hillary song never became the offical song for Hillary house, but I’ll keep it up on my site as a memory of SIS…
More people signed my school shirt today, including some of the teachers… I also sang ‘Why is our school so imperfect’ during the English lesson (because it was my farewell party), and the teachers didn’t really mind that much, especially since the words were “EVIL teachers won’t let us smile … I just hope they all die now”, if the teachers take offence then it means they’re admitting to be evil…
I received chocolate, squishy mice, a mouse pen, three candy canes and three Christmas cards… (well actually I got one of the candy canes and two of the cards earlier, but I’m putting one picture with all of them here…
I also got my transcript of grades, and apparently I got an A for ICT in year 8 even though I didn’t do ICT in year 8…
Well, I’ll miss all my friends at SIS… Oh, and I have something to say -
Leeann and Alison: You’ll probably miss getting all the candy from me, won’t you? Let’s go and take sticker pics during the holiday, OK?
Alice: Who will you work with in geography next term? Are you really going to join the choir to replace me? May be you should join computer programming too if you’re really trying to take my place in activities…
Shrey and Mao: I hope you don’t suffer in silence, wait, I mean science…

- Every year before, athletics finals meant a long and boring day sitting at the crowded stands enduring the noise, but not this year! This year I’m the ‘official’ photographer!!! I took about 90 pictures in total! I had pictures of the people running in the track events, action packed shots of people in mid air doing high jump or long jump, the long queue at the canteen, the crowd of teachers, and everything like that… Of course, I don’t have the space for all of them here, so these will have to do:

- It’ll be the Festival of Carols tonight! I’m so excited… Of course, that means more pictures!

It’s been signed by lots of people… One person actually misspelled my name, but then at least it was only one person… Someone actually misspelled ‘choir’, guess who that was! I have another (clean) one for the Festival of Carols… I’ll bring this to school on Friday just because someone wasn’t at school today…

The trip started off badly, something already went wrong when the buses were going to leave the school… Supposedly, the bus hit the taxi… I could’ve got a better picture if the teacher didn’t stop me from going to the front when I didn’t even try to get off the bus…
We messed up a lot, especially Ding Dong Merrily on High… Tomorrow will be so awkward, the teacher’ll be so angry…
Obviously I didn’t take these pictures… I have a video too, but I can’t upload that to my computer until Friday… If anyone wants to see it, leave a comment and I’ll send the video when I get it on the computer…

- Ahh my legs hurt after the trip to Ocean Park… To me, the physics trip kind of became a trip for taking pictures… I finished the booklet right at the beginning, and I took a total of 27 pictures… (actually, more than that, but I deleted the really bad ones) It was a good chance for me to practice taking pictures, since I’ll be the ‘official’ photographer on the athletics finals…
The view from the Abyss was great…
It wasn’t easy to take a picture of myself on the Crazy Galleon, so I tried taking one of the other people instead…
The pictures on the cable car and in front of the Christmas tree are the best…
- There was a choir rehearsal after the Ocean Park trip too… Tomorrow is the real thing, I’m so excited! I didn’t dare scream on the rides in case I mess up my voice… What’s weirder, going to Ocean Park but not going on the rides or going on the rides but not screaming at all?

- Wow, I bought so much stuff this weekend…
- Yesterday I’ve actually been to school for the choir rehearsal, I realise how my voice always gets messed up half way through rehearsals and recover as soon as I get home… I also found out that the computers in D25 are left on during the weekend…
- I have such an eventful week coming up…
Monday 13th: Physics trip to Ocean Park + Choir rehearsal
Tuesday 14th: Choir performing at Avenue of Stars
Thursday 16th: Athletics finals (I’ll be the ‘official’ photographer!!!) + Festival of Carols
Friday 17th: Last day of term! (also my last day at SIS)
