    • Yay! The exams are over! The ICT multiple choice exam was such a joke, it was exactly the same as the one on the school website, not to mention that the teacher went over it with us… We had an hour, but I finished in about seven minutes, and by twenty minutes almost everyone had finished and the teachers let us out half an hour early…
    • I changed the site layout again… This time it took a surprisingly short time to get everything right…

    • The tune of ‘Heroes’ certainly isn’t easy to follow… May be I should get the mice girl song done first considering that it’s definitely way easier… My voice isn’t very well, may be I’m eating too much chilli sauce and vinegar, which is bad for me (not only bad for my voice, but it makes my lips dry as well) but I still eat a lot of it… Come to think of it, I’ve been eating that with my lunch everyday for the past week…

      May be it’s just the background music that makes my voice sound bad, so why do I still try to sing to background music? There are people who say my recorded songs are about as good as a song can be without background music, but it’s not like that those people would actually listen to the new version even if I eventually manage to record my songs with background music…

      I really do have a sore throat… I really ate too much chilli sauce and vinegar…

    • The exam today was the French speaking, which is the one I’m the least confident about, but the teacher said I was one of the better ones in the set, at least compared to those who did the exam before me…
    • No water (from the taps) today… The water supply was supposed to be resumed at 6:00 pm, but it’s 7:30 pm now and there is still no water, so I can’t have a shower, and I have to scoop water out of a bucket if I need to wash my hands… It is really annoying not having water from the taps when you’re used to it…

    • Today I arrived at school so early… The French reading exam started at 2:00 but I arrived at 1:05… I never had to go to school by mini bus before, so I went out really early… I always get out early because I think I’ll be late and end up arriving too early… Before I went out I was talking to Leeann Leighann on MSN, we always manage to talk for a long time, with me showing her my weapons… Like she said, how can anyone not like weapons? But my other friends don’t… After the exam Leighann Leeann came to my place, and I showed her my new webcam… Seems like that I’m always showing people various stuff… If anyone is reading this I’ll show you… My board of spikes! The same one that I showed Leeann and Leighann… (Such similar names…)

    • I found a program for recording directly from the sound card to get background music, I have a Winamp plugin for removing the vocals, and now I even found out how to make sure the background music isn’t too loud, so all I need is to keep practising, but there isn’t much chance that I can record the song with background music in sync before the end of today, so I should really be revising rather than trying to learn the rhythm of the song, or else I’ll be entering the exam with the song stuck in my head…

    • I bought a webcam yesterday and I ended up talking to Leighann on MSN from 1 am until 4… It was fun showing her all my weapons and stuff… The webcam is good except that it doesn’t work very well with Yahoo messenger and the programs that it come with has worse calibration than the smartboard in C36…

    • Playing music on the computer and trying to record it isn’t as easy as I expected to be… In fact, I can’t do that at all… The microphone and speakers are probably designed to make that hard, that would be to avoid echos for people who are using it to talk to other people… Who would be trying to record the music that the computer is playing? Probably not that many people…
      This is annoying, but I’m still trying, even though there are other things that I should be doing, like revising… This always happens, I get fustrated over something that I normally like to do because it’s not working the way I expect it to, but I still spend hours and hours on it even though it’s annoying me, often when I should really be doing something else… But then, at least it’s what I chose to do, and if anyone is reading this, don’t get the impression that the only thing I do is trying to record songs…

    • My ‘sing along with the animation’ idea is such a failure… It’s so bad that I might as well not have background music… May be I should try a different song, the tune of Heroes is really not the kind that I can sing properly… But then, may be I can’t sing anything properly…

      With many other songs I can actually sing my parody version along with the music from voice removal, so I suppose it’s just the song Heroes that is too hard for me… How ironic, out of all my parodies, the parody of Heroes (why is our school just so imperfect) has my favourite lyrics, and yet it’s the hardest one to sing…

      The sing along with an animation method might actually work, but it’s not that simple… I’ll have to take the time it takes me to sing a line after I see it into account in order to sing reasonably in sync with the music… That’s going to be hard though… My current goal is to at least record the song of why is our school so imperfect with background music before the end of the holiday…

      -Guess what! Another edit… I should really leave posting in my xanga until the end of the day so I don’t end up talking to myself-
      The sing along actually works, but in the song Heroes there are vocal parts that I can’t get rid of… *Founding Fathers all had slaves, The explorer slaughtered the braves… Heard Babe Ruth was full of malice, Lewis Carroll I’m sure did Alice, Plato in the cave with those very young boys… Raymond Chandler drunk and depressed, Tennessee Williams drunk and depressed…* There’s nothing I can do about that, so I guess my ‘why is our school just so imperfect’ song will never have background music unless I find a copy of the tune without vocals (as if I ever will) or if I play that tune on an instrument… (but the only instrument I can play is the recorder, and there are some notes that I don’t know how to play… If anyone is reading this, don’t tell me to start learning to play an instrument)
