• I’m actually quite glad that the maths exam today took me most of the two hours to do. I only had ten minutes left at the end. I panicked a bit halfway through, but I’d rather be rushing than sit there and shiver. All the exams I had last week, I finished early, and luckily it wasn’t too cold last week. I mean, for biology I had an hour left at the end. On the cover of the chemistry paper it said 90 minutes, and the invigilator said it was a typing error and it should be 2 hours, but I think may be it was right after all; we were just given all that extra time.

  Anyway, guess where I went today… As if I ever go anywhere else on Monday, you know what to expect.

  We’re doing naphtol today, so I had to stitch up something for it. I tried doing stars:
  

  They’re not turning out right though. Now I have another top that looks like I’ve spilled paint on it. It’s a real pain to remove all the stitches too.
  

  Well, at least I have something that is turning out alright. It’s surprising how I actually got pale colours with naphtol. Normally it gives bright colours (that’s why everything I do with naphtol looks like I’ve spilled paint on it) and that’s what everyone else got, but apparently I have polycotton (cotton / polyester blend) that doesn’t absorb the dye as well as cotton does. As for the skirt, I have no idea what material it is because there’s no tag.
