  • It’s Saturday, but I went to the fabric club because I get to make up for the lesson I missed at the beginning.

    My indigo t-shirt

The stitches on the side weren’t tight enough. Luckily I tied it up in the middle, or the whole thing would just be blue. That’s the downside about indigo: it’s all blue!

I’m glad I didn’t bring something that already had colour in it like I did last time. Can’t risk ruining the dye bath with something that the caustic soda can take out!

Where does the hydro in sodium hydrosulphite come from? There’s no hydrogen in it (Na2S2O4).

The indigo was synthetic, but it’s pretty much the same as the natural stuff.
“The Hs, Os and Cs are the same” – Marion
    Somehow that was funny.

“This is all Hogwarts stuff” – Rysia
It’d be cool if someone said that in chemistry class! (Of course I won’t, I haven’t even read Harry Potter)

Here’s something from dinner just to make everyone hungry:
EntreeThis looks pretty but it tastes bad
Typical, I forgot to take photos of the main course. The pink stuff actually tastes quite gross even though it might look really nice.
